In Loving Memory of CJ BlandaA native New Orleanian, CJ Blanda called the French Quarter home for more than seventy years, saying the neighborhood is “the heart of my life.” Sadly, CJ passed away on July 3rd, just two weeks after we ran the printed version of CJ’s Quarter Kaleidoscope presentation at BK House last year. If you missed “Seven Decades in the French Quarter,” be inspired now. And here’s a clip from the end of CJ’s presentation, when he choked up with love for his community.
